Channel 9 owner Maja Pavlovic ended her hunger strike today after speaking with President Aleksander Vucic.

As she told reporters, President Vucic gave her assurances that he would in the next ten days contact everyone responsible for solving her problem, and that some solution would be found.

Pavlovic told reporters in front of the Presidency that she also spoke with Veran Matic yesterday, and that he told her discussions have already begun with the copyright organization in order to adjust economic tariffs for those payong them.

Pavlovic said that she told the president she was afraid to end the hunger strike and go back to Novi Sad without concrete solutions.

"He gave me firm assurances that it will happen within ten days and that, if I see no progress, I should come here and continue where we left off," said Pavlovic.

Asked if this means she was ending her hunger strike, Pavlovic said that she "in the end had coffee" with the president and that hunger strike was over today - because ten days is not a long time to wait and see if the problem would be solved.
